This past Saturday, the Midland Golf Club in Kewanee, IL, transformed into a time capsule, bringing together the Kewanee High School Class of 1975 for a night filled with laughter, nostalgia, and live music. Guests gathered to celebrate their 50th reunion, a milestone that blended perfectly with an evening of music provided by none other than our own Tom Campbell.
An Evening to Remember
From 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Tom’s soulful guitar strums and vocals filled the air, setting the perfect ambiance for reminiscing and reconnecting. “I couldn’t have had a better time performing,” Tom remarked. “There is something magical about decades-old friendships.” The warmth of the evening was not just in the music but in the shared stories and laughter that echoed throughout the club.

Tom’s setlist catered to the crowd’s love for 1960s and 1970s tunes, and it was clear these classics still resonated deeply:
- “We May Never Pass This Way (Again)” by Seals and Crofts
- “Sunshine” by Jonathan Edwards

- Encore: “I Saw Her Standing There” by The Beatles
The night ended on a high note with an impromptu dance session to “I Saw Her Standing There,” a request from the audience that had everyone, including about 20 die-hards, dancing the night away.
